Jimena is a graduated communicator based in Peru with a specialty in journalism from Pontificia Universidad  Catolica del Peru (PUCP) and with a Diploma in video and camera editing from Centro de la Imagen of Lima. She's curretly working as a radio reporter and photojournalist in Radio Quillabamba, a radio station located in the amazon province of La Convencion, Cusco. In 2020 was selected to become a full member of Diversify Photo

Her work focus on spotlight news, identity, migration, gender, rural communities and peasantry.
