Jimena is a self taught emerging photographer based in Peru with a Bachelor's Degree in journalism from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP). Her work focus on spotlight news, identity, migration, gender, Amazon issues and peasantry. She has been living the last two years in the amazon - andean province of La Convencion (Cusco), where she has develop different collaboration projects with locals. She has been selected for the 2021 mentorship program of Women Photograph and received her first scholarship for the Missouri Photo Workshop.

She is also a member of Diversify Photo and Women Photogrpah
