Jimena is a graduated communicator based in Peru with a specialty in journalism from Pontificia Universidad  Catolica del Peru (PUCP) and self taught emerging photographer. She's curretly working as a radio reporter and photojournalist in Radio Quillabamba, a radio station located in the amazon province of La Convencion, Cusco. She is also a member of Diversify Photo.

Her work focus on spotlight news, identity, migration, gender, rural communities and peasantry.
